[Greek version] POS payments now support IRIS instant payments & tips

We’ve just released a new update to the POS payments workflow for Greek organizations, to help businesses comply with regulations and offer a better customer experience.

Support for IRIS instant payments

In addition to traditional card payments, you may now accept IRIS instant payments directly from your POS terminal. A new option allows you to choose between:

• Debit/Credit card, or
• IRIS instant payment

This addition is in line with the latest Greek legislation (Α1162/2025) and allows businesses to offer faster, secure, and fully compliant digital payment options.

Optional tips during POS transactions

You can now add a tip amount when accepting a POS payment. The tip is treated separately from the invoice or receipt total, meaning:

• The document total remains unchanged.
• The paid amount increases, with the tip being reported separately to myDATA.

This ensures full compliance with Greek tax regulations while giving your customers the flexibility to leave gratuities.
